Terms & conditions

These terms apply when you use the DevCritters website. Separate written agreements apply when you become a client.

Last updated: 4 May 2026

These terms cover use of our public website only. For how we handle personal data, see our Privacy policy.

1. Agreement

By accessing or using devcritters.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms & conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Who we are

The Site is operated by DevCritters (“DevCritters”, “we”, “us”). Contact: devcritters@gmail.com.

3. Not professional advice

Content on the Site (including articles and case studies) is for general information. It is not legal, financial, or technical advice for your specific situation. Engagements are only formed under a separate written statement of work or contract.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or infringes others’ rights;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other accounts, or networks connected to the Site;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or overload or disrupt it (for example, by introducing malware or excessive automated traffic);
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site through automated means without our prior written consent, except as allowed by public search engine indexing in line with robots rules;
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Site to send spam or misleading communications.

5. Intellectual property

The Site and its content (including text, graphics, logos, layout, and software) are owned by DevCritters or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Site or its content without our prior written permission, except where law allows otherwise.

6. Third-party links and tools

The Site may link to third-party websites or embed third-party tools (for example, social or messaging widgets). We do not control those services; their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

7. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevCritters and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Site is limited to the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the amount you paid us specifically for the feature giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim (if any). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DevCritters from claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

10. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree, stop using the Site.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms DevCritters, users, or third parties.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence.
